Ch Warrigal Munyah Blue Yarraman HIC
Munyah was once again top ACD in the UK (2010) as well as in 2007 and 2008
She was the Breed CC holder in UK (11 CCs)
Also, Top Bitch in Breed 2002, 2003, 2005 and 2006
Left, RBIS 2010 at ACD Society of GB Championship Showunder Judge, Mrs Zena Thorn-Andrews
Munyah won her first Challenge Certificate (ACDs became part of this system in January 2007) at Birmingham National Dog Show on 10th May 2007 under Mr Albert Wight when she was Best Bitch and Best of Breed.
Judge said 'There was not a better moving example of the breed here. Smooth, light footed, almost gliding around the ring with a deceptive reach and effortless drive. So well put together in construction and a joy to go over. Has the muscle tone of an athlete, her backline is as hard as iron and she looks like she could work all day long. Head is lovely, strong but definitely feminine, the best of legs and feet, tail carriage exemplary. I believe her first CC and others should follow rapidly.'
Munyah picked up her second CC on 18th May 2007 at the Scottish Kennel Club's Championship show at Ingliston, Edinburgh under Mr Peter Bailey when she was, again, Best Bitch and Best of Breed.
Judge said 'In this bitch I found the best of movers, she literally glided around the ring with the best of front extension and rear drive, well muscled, lovely balance of topline, loin and croup, good neck, front shoulders are lovely, her head is outstandingly good, giving the best of feminine expressions, coming from the best of eye shape and colour, lovely earset, her blue speckled coat and tan markings are good, I was more than pleased to award her the top honour, I believe this is her second CC and I wish her well for the third.
On 24th June 2007 at Blackpool and District Canine Society's Show Munyah picked up her third CC under Mrs Ferelith Somerfield, she was Best Bitch and Best of Breed. This makes her the first UK bitch Champion in the breed. Our thanks to the three judges who awarded her the CCs necessary to give her her championship - Mr Albert Wight, Mr Peter Bailey and Mrs Ferelith Somerfield.
Munyah was awarded her 4th CC at Welsh Kennel Club on 18th August 2007 by Mr Jeff Luscott. He also made her his Best of Breed.
Munyah was 1st in Open Bitch at Crufts 2008 and Reserve Best Bitch behind her granddaughter, Yarraman Dare To Rock at Coright.
On 6th of April 2008 at the Australian Cattle Dog Society's Open Show Munyah was Best Bitch and Best of Breed under Mr Vic Salt.
She picked up her 5th CC at Birmingham National under Mr Jack Chetwynd, followed by her 6th at Scottish Kennel Club under Mr John McManus, both in May, and both making her Best Bitch. Her most recent CC was in June at Three Counties Show, Malvern under Mrs Zena Thorn Andrews when she was Best Bitch and Best of Breed, picking up the single ticket on offer that day. That was her up to 7 CCs and she is the current British Breed CC Record Holder.
Munyah took a Goup 1 and Reserve Best In Show at Cheltenham and District Show in February 2009. She was put through to the Group by Mrs J. Swan and BIS judge was Mr B. Brown Cole.
In September 2009 at ACDS of GB Championship Show Munyah was Best Veteran. BEST VETERAN !! Where did the time go?!
Finally, in her 10th year Munyah was Best Bitch in breed at Crufts, an award that had eluded her and we are so happy that she achieved this before her sad passing.
