Introducing Yarrman Alice Spring. Known as Alice and born 3rd November 2006.

She was sired by Yarraman The Chalani (Jack) and was out of Yarraman The Birralee (Birralee), both of which were bred by us,

We had a bit of a time with Alice! She sneakily ate something she shouldn't have (we think possibly a plastic bag) and whilst we knew she was unwell trying to establish exactly what the problem was didn't prove to be easy. Just to top it all off she then succumbed to a bacterial infection called Campylobacter, and a nasty little devil that was! Eventually she had to have exploratory surgery and it really was touch and go for a few days. Her bowel had partially turned inside out (the Vet compared it to what happens to the finger on a latex glove when you pull it off).

As a result of the above Alice's debut into the showring was been delayed but she has now been out and about and doing very well too!

On 8th July 2007 Alice was Best Puppy in Breed at South Wales Kennel Association show under Sue Hewart-Chambers, and she won the same award at Paignton on 11th July 2007under breed specialist, Stella Smyth.

The show ring was not somewhere Alice relished being, so she was retired to keep our line going, and she has has been a wonderful brood bitch for us.
