Our Latest Achievements

June 2008

Three Counties, Malvern

On Wednesday 11th June 2008 Munyah was Best of Breed and took the single ticket on offer at the above show under Mrs Zena Thorn Andrews. We couldn't be happier with how Munyah's year is shaping up and many thanks to Mrs Thorn Andrews for her contribution to this. Munyah is now on 7 Challenge Certificates which makes her the British breed CC record holder ~ and I don't think she is ready to stop quite yet!

May 2008

Scottish Kennel Club

Our sincere thanks to John McManus for making Munyah Best Bitch at the above Show on Saturday 17th of May. Yarraman Star Sapphire at Dartbrook was Reserve Best Bitch and Mudgee Blue Yarraman won her class, so it was worth making the long journey over and above being an opportunity to meet up with all our Scottish friends!

Birmingham National Dog Show

Thank you to Jack Chetwynd for Munyah's 5th CC on Saturday 10th of May at the above Show where she was Best Bitch. Another Reserve Best Bitch place for Yarraman Dare To Rock at Coright (Taz) and Lesley Wright too.

April 2008

Working and Pastoral Breeds Association of Wales

We went along to the Royal Welsh Showground on Saturday 19th April 2008 to the WPBA of Wales Show. Judge was Mrs J. Peak. Our Mudgee Blue Yarraman was first in Junior Bitch, though, admittedly, standing alone :-) Ch Yarraman Munyah Blue Yarraman was first in Open bitch with her daughter Yarraman Dare To Rock at Coright in 2nd place (I think these two will be swopping position for some time to come!). We were stunned, though in a good way, when Mrs Peak gave our youngster, Mudgee, Best Bitch!

Australian Cattle Dog Society Of Great Britain's Open Show

Our grateful thanks to Vic Salt who on Sunday 6th April 2008 made our Ch Warrigal Munyah Blue Yarraman Best Bitch and Best of Breed at the above show. Also for our 1st placing in Junior Bitch for Mudgee Blue Yarraman. We loved the beautiful sash the Scociety presented for Munyah's win and the rosettes they gave out were absolutely beautiful (and will, of course, be given pride of place in our collection!).

March 2008

What a day Crufts was for us!

We cannot thank Steve Hall (Judge) enough for the marvellous day he gave us

at Crufts on Saturday 8th March 2008. John Carruthers' Yarraman The Booroo

ShCM (Boomer) started off the day with a 1st in Limit Dog, this was followed

by Boomer also winning 1st in the Good Citizen Dog Scheme (Dog) class. In Limit

Bitch Yarraman Dare to Rock at Coright (Taz) was 1st for Lesley Wright.

Taz's granny, our Ch Warrigal Munyah Blue Yarraman (Munyah), then went on to

take 1st in Open Bitch. Taz then followed in Boomer's footsteps by taking 1st in

the Good Citizen Dog Scheme (Bitch) class. In the bitch challenge Taz took Best

Bitch and Munyah was Reserve Best Bitch. The Taz challenged the Best Dog and

was made BEST OF BREED We were SO excited!!

Taz did us proud in the 'big ring' even though she didn't make the cut. Our thanks

to Lesley for showing her off to such a high standard.

The only disappointment of the day was that our Digger, Yappeet Blue

Dreamer Yarraman, had a tummy upset and had to be withdrawn from his

class. Thankfully he is now recovered.

January 2008

Well Done!

Congratulations yet again to Morag Slaven and Yarraman Star Sapphire at

Dartbrook for their win at Paisley and District Canine Society's Open Show on

5th January where they took the Best AVNSC Pastoral spot and followed this

with a Group 2 place in the Pastoral Group.

Also on the 5th January we were very pleased with our Warrigal Munyah

Blue Yarraman's most respectable 3rd place in Champion Stakes at Worcester

and Malvern Canine Society's Open Show.

December 2007

Congratulations

Very well done to Morag Slaven and Yarraman Star Sapphire of Dartbrook on

their Best Not Separately Classified and Group 3 win in the Pastoral Group

at Livingstone Canine Society's Open Show at Bathgate Sports Centre on

29th December 2007 under Mrs Sue Pollock-Yule. And following on from

this congratulations to Lesley Wright's for her win with Yarraman Dare To

Rock at Coright at Coventry Ladies' Kennel Society Premier Open Show on Tuesday

1st January 2008. Taz was best AVNSC Pastoral and then went on to take Group 4

in the Pastoral Group under Norma Naylor (Aniday)

Top UK ACD

What a thrill for us to read in 'Dog World' the Warrigal Munyah Blue Yarraman is

top ACD in the UK for 2007. She was top bitch in breed in 2002, 2003, 2005

and 2006 (in 2006 our Digger - Yaapeet Blue Dreamer was top ACD in the UK) so it

is wonderful that her time has now come!

November 2007

Well done to John Carruthers' Boomer - Yarraman The Booroo ShCM - for his

Best Dog and Best of Breed win at Working and Pastoral Breeds Association

of Scotland on Saturday 3rd November 2007. Boomer was pulled out in the last 8

of the group for further consideration too. Kevin Wilkie and Morag Slaven's

Yarraman Star Sapphire at Dartbrook was first in Post Graduate Bitch. Well done

to all and thanks to the Judge, Mr H. E. Pedersen from Denmark for these placings.

September 2007

Darlington

A good day out for Yarraman dogs

We were at Darlington on Saturday, 15th of September to show under Dr Gladys

D. Cowie from Australia. Best Dog and Best of Breed was John Carruthers'

Boomer, Yarraman The Booroo ShCM, bred by us, and Reserve Best Dog was

his father, our Yaapeet Blue Dreamer Yarraman. Best Bitch was our Ch

Warrigal Munyah Blue Yarraman, Boomer's dam. Reserve Best Bitch was Kevin

Wilkie and Morag Slaven's Yarraman Blue Sapphire at Dartbrook, also bred by

us. Star's dam was Boomer's sister, Yarraman The Birralee. Our thanks to Dr.

Cowie for these placings.

ACD Society Fun Day

Well done to the babies

We went to the ACD Society of GB's Fun Day on Sunday 2nd September and were pleased that both Thunda and Mudgee passed their Puppy Foundation for the Good Citizens Award under Mrs Edith Nicholls-Miller.

Congratulations Boomer and Star

Well done to Yarraman The Booroo ShCM for taking Best Dog and Best of Breed

Breed. Keep that Yarraman flag flying guys!

Another CC for Munyah

Munyah does it again

On Saturday 18th August at Welsh Kennel Club Munyah was awarded her 4th CC

by Mr Jeff Luscott and just to round it off he also made her his Best of Breed.

Many thanks for this award.

Congratulations

Show wins and good citizens too!

Well done to John Carruthers whose Yarraman The Booroo ShCM was Reserve Best

In Show at Cheviot Canine Society's Open Show in Northumberland. Please click

here to see a photo of Boomer on the

Also congratulations to John Carruthers and Morag Slaven who have achieved

Bronze Good Citizen Awards with Yarraman The Booroo ShCM and Yarraman

Star Sapphire respectively.

July 2007

Digger does it

We were very pleased that Yaapeet Blue Dreamer Yarraman picked up his

first Challenge Certificate on 14th of July under Mr Jack Bispham at the

National Working and Pastoral Show at Malvern. Thanks to the judge.

Another good day out with the dogs

At Paignton on 11th July 2007 our latest puppy to come out, Yarraman Alice

Spring, was Best Puppy in breed, our Yaapeet Blue Dreamer Yarraman was Best Dog

in breed and Yarraman Dare To Rock at Coright, owned by Lesley Wright, was

Best Bitch and Best of Breed with her grandmother, our Warrigal Munyah

Blue Yarraman, in the Reserve Best Bitch position. Congratulations to Lesley Wright

on this win - I did tell you Lesley that I would make sure you got a good one!

Thank you to Breed Specialist, Stella Smyth, for making the long journey worthwhile.

1........2........3

A triple result for Yarraman on 8th of July at South Wales Kennel

Association! Yaapeet Blue Dreamer Yarraman was Best Dog, Yarraman Alice Spring

was Best Puppy and Warrigal Munyah Blue Yarraman was Best Bitch and Best

of Breed. Reserve Best Bitch was Kevin Wilkie and Morag Slaven's Yarraman

Star Sapphire at Dartbrook. Our thanks to judge Mrs Sue Hewart-Chambers

for making our day.

June 2007

Finally!

On Sunday 24th June 2007 Warrigal Munyah Blue Yarraman picked up her 3rd CC

at Blackpool and District Canine Society's Show under Mrs Ferelith Somerfield.

Munyah is the first UK bitch Champion and we are absolutely delighted, not just

for ourselves but for her breeder the Countess of Huntingdon. Reserve Best Bitch

was Yarraman Dare To Rock at Coright who belongs to Lesley Wright.

May 2007

More Fantastic News!

Munyah did it again! Under Mr Peter Bailey (Beechwyre) on 18th May 2007 at

the Scottish Kennel Club Championship Show she took the Bitch CC and Best of Breed.

One more to go for her Championship ............. we are so excited! Dogs of

our breeding also did well on the day with Yarraman The Booroo ShCM first in

Limit Dog and Yarraman Star Sapphire at Dartbrook first in Post Graduate Bitch.

Fantastic News!

We cannot describe our delight when Warrigal Munyah Blue Yarraman took her first

CC at Birmingham National Dog Show under Mr Albert Wight on 10th May 2007.

Oh yes, and she was also Best of Breed which just added to an already

wonderful result for us. Yarraman Dare To Rock at Coright picked up the

Reserve Bitch CC behind her granny.
